Royal Scottish Academy (RSA) Morton Award

The RSA Morton Award grants £5,000 for artists working in a lens-based media in Scotland to research, develop and produce a new body of work. The award is funded by The Morton Charitable Trust.
Eligibility:
- Artists must be working in a lens-based media (includes digital & analogue photography, film and video)
- Artists must have either been born in Scotland, have studied at a Scottish art school, or been resident in Scotland for at least 3 years
- Current undergraduate or postgraduate students are not eligible.
What you get:
- A monetary award to research, develop and produce a new body of work in a lens-based medium.
- An exhibition of selected completed work at the Royal Scottish Academy at a future date.
- Acquisition of work into the RSA Permanent Collection; ‘A Recognised Collection of National Significance to Scotland’.
