Exhibition Opportunity
Exhibit your work at Lilith- Defiance, Persecution and Equality
Updated: 23 September 2021
"Lilith- Defiance, Persecution and Equality" is an exhibition planned for May 2022. The exhibition aims to provide a platform for dialogue between Jewish and Muslim artists around the common theme of feminism and persecution. The works are inspired by or refer to the story of Lilith, an ambiguous figure from Mesopotamian myth. She is a symbol of all people who have been rejected and punished for being true to their nature. In modern culture, she embodies unbridled freedom and feminism.
Eligibility: Jewish and Muslim (ethnic or religious) artists that identify as FLINTA* (female-identifying, transgender, non-binary, queer). Open to all ages
What you get: 250 Euros if the funding gets granted
