City of Gothenburg Open Call: Public Art for the Urban Spaces Around Haga and Korsvägen Stations

The City of Gothenburg invites artists and artist groups to participate in the international selective tendering process for one of the biggest infrastructure and urban development projects in the history of the city: the West Link. Two new public artworks are going to be created for the urban spaces around Haga Station and Korsvägen Station.

Practicing artists can apply to be considered for the commission to create site-specific, permanent works of art in the urban spaces around Haga Station and Korsvägen Station in conjunction with the construction of the West Link project.

Eligibility: Open to professional artists from all fields.

What you get: The six artists or artist groups who are invited to develop concept proposals will each receive compensation of 126,500 SEK (VAT exclusive). Each of the two artists who are ultimately awarded commissions will be given a 5,500,000 SEK (VAT exclusive) production budget to execute their artworks. Note that there is no compensation for submitting Expressions of Interest.
