Art Cologne’s Satellite Fair KÖLNER LISTE 2017 Open Call [sponsored]

International artists and galleries are invited to apply now for exhibition. Emerging talents and gallery programmes with exciting perspectives and moderate prices are particularly encouraged to apply.

Parallel to ART COLOGNE, the KÖLNER LISTE will be held from April 28th to 30th, 2017 at the XPOST venue. In it’s fourth year, this fair of discovery will showcase a wide range of contemporary art at reasonable prices. The curated exhibition aims to attract young collectors and art lovers, inviting them to engage with international artists and hunt down original artwork for their own homes.

The KÖLNER LISTE gives young artists the opportunity to present their work to one of Europe’s most important art markets – and take advantage of the prosperous capital and collector density in the Rhineland and neighbouring Benelux countries. Exhibitors in previous years have found the fair not only to be a place to sell their work, but a springboard to entering leading international fairs and galleries.

The location for the KÖLNER LISTE 2017 will be the XPOST in central Cologne. This former packet distribution centre was constructed in 1895 and is now a historic listed building. As well as the excellent city location and good transport links, the XPOST offers the ideal space for exhibiting modern art across 4000 sqm.

With 84 galleries and artists from 15 countries, the number of exhibitors almost doubled this year. Attracting over 7000 art lovers, collectors and influences, the KÖLNER LISTE has firmly established itself as a new, unmissable art fair format in Cologne springtime.
