Opening the Floodgates 2017

The Ring, a new arts programme for the waterways of Worcestershire, in collaboration with Canal & River Trust launch Opening the Floodgates 2017.
Opening the Floodgates is a new commissioning opportunity open to all artists living or working in the West Midlands. Individual artists or artist collectives are invited to submit proposals to re-purpose and recycle flood waste that has been collected from canals and rivers in the Worcestershire area to make a public artwork.
The budget for the commission is £10,000 inclusive of artist fees and production/installation costs.
