Reason Is An Impasse Reason Is Damnation is an exhibition by artists Faye Spencer and Anna FC Smith exploring the ancient fool archetype. Spencer and Smith's practices coincide over an affinity with the Fool and they entered into this research project to discover what this primal lore can offer a divided society which is at once entrenched in polarised earnestness and yet amok with absurdity.
This will tour Hanover Project, Preston and then Cross Street Arts, Wigan.
A programme of events include an artist talk 4pm 21stMarch, opening 5-7pm 21stMarch, a group reading session on All Fools Day - April 1st, performance on April 11th, and an accompanying publication. All events are free.
