Surface is pleased to announce the return of our volunteer show, Radiate.
About
Radiate features a mixture of practices, created by our dedicated community of volunteers. The work on display ranges from Haycock’s paintings that question the nature of identity in the age of AI, to the creative perusal of gastropod mollusks by Jones, and Boultbee’s exploration of the social interdependence we have with nature. Radiate promises a comprehensive and fresh visual experience as diverse as the practices and concerns of the artists involved. This exhibition brings forward those who give their time and energy to Surface throughout the year, who keep alive the warmth and inclusivity within this community, and give support to the many artists who pass through these gallery walls. Radiate encompasses these values, and gives back to the volunteers.
Radiate opens on the ground floor in the Main Gallery, in conjunction with Homeland: A Touring Photographic Exhibition by Paulina Korobkiewicz, in the Project Space. As always, there will be a donations bar with ales from local brewery, Pheasantry.
