OutLands - A Drove of Artists.
A Murder of Artists.
A Harras of Artists.
A Deceit of Artists.
Like Leonids appear from one point in the sky, we also tell the lie. In truth the orbit of our icy nuclei, chronicles an arc outwith earth's eye.
Satis House proudly presents the first Belfast showcase of this dynamic organisation's members.
OutLands are an artist-led organisation based in Fermanagh, run by volunteers set up to promote and support the ethos of exhibiting contemporary art in rural locations and to support artists whose practice involves ideas of the rural and the remote in its widest context.
We walked and we became remote in time and other ways. We rode horses, mountain bikes; we drove cars, we caught buses, we ran. West to the outlands.
Exhibiting artists:
Ursula Burke, Nuala Gregory, Seamus Harahan, Diane Henshaw, Christine Mackey, Harriet MacMillan, Deirdre McKenna, Duncan Ross, Helen Sharp, and Niall Walsh.
