3 full day sessions to introduce you to metal work processes.
About
Over 3 sessions this course will introduce you to working in steel to develop a hands-on knowledge relating to the processes of working with metal and sculptural fabrication. By exploring qualities such as volume, form, and rhythm you’ll begin to develop your own sculptural language in constructed metal.

Working largely in metal Joe Ingleby’s work explores organic metamorphosis. His sculptures are inspired by nature, but also hold a memory of functional artefacts; these are evolved forms that have their own rhythm and identity. His practice includes site-specific public commissions, as well as work on a variety of scales for both interior and exterior environments. You can find out more about Joe’s work on his website.
