Three Years After the Tsunami
About
Photography, video and tiger installations by Mayumi Hirata.Tiger Scroll paintings by Horirien First.
On 11th March 2011, a catastrophic tsunami shocked Japan and the World. This was first and foremost a human tragedy.
It's been three years ad most of the affected areas have yet to be re-built, the survivors of the tsunami still face an uncertain future. Life is tough, but those men have the hearts of TIGERS!
The lost everything... They almost lost hope. But they are re-born, stronger than ever. They never give up. Through them we can learn how to be strong and powerful, even in the hardest of times.
