About
Curated by Brooke Wilson, Construct is an exhibition exploring the very essence of its definition. Through the lens of various materials and methods of assemblage, this exhibition examines the purpose of construction as a means of communication Brooke Wilson is a writer and curator based in London, UK. Her writing has been published in by a variety of publications, including DATEAGLE ART and Curatorial Affairs. In addition to her editorial accolades, she has also curated a number of exhibitions such as The Bomb Factory Art Foundation, London and the Central Saint Martin’s Museum and Study Collection. In 2018, she also co-founded Boys Don’t Cry UK, an art collective and platform raising awareness around male mental health, which has led numerous multi-disciplinary projects across the capital. Featuring a plethora of celebrated artists including Emma Adler, Rafael D’Aló, Bobby Dowler, Sylvie Hayes-Wallace, Ali Glover, Anne Tallentire and Charlotte Thrane, Wilson has curated a show that revels in the tension between building and breaking down - Construct displays the narratives artists build to decode the world around them.
