Art Barter will bring a unique and exiting art exhibition to the Strummer of Love festival this August. Exhibiting artworks by music related artists inspired by the late Joe Strummer, the public will be able to bid on the art works using anything except money.
The works will be exhibited on a double decker bus turned gallery designed by pop artist Sir Peter Blake with CCA Galleries.
Artists will includeà Bob Gruen, Mick Jones, Claude Simonon, Gaye Black, Martin Glover, Paul Fryer,à Rodney Graham,à Gordon McHarg III, Gaz Mayall, Ian Bruce, Alex Cox, Nipsy, Akiko Comanechi, Kitty Finer, John McLean and James Putnamà to mention a few.àÂ
This August (17-19th) will see the Joe Strummer 10 year anniversary festival, Strummer Of Love! The mission is to celebrate his life and raise money for the charityà Strummervillewhich enables independent musicians to continue creating by assisting them with recording time, instruments, gigs and guidance.
