Artist Kaori Homma will introduce a drawing method called Aburidashi, a traditional Japanese technique normally associated with a secret correspondence in the past.Using lemon juice and fire, the participants will learn the technique used by the artist for her forthcoming exhibition at Kestle Barton in September, while also discovering the history and the connotations associated with this process.
