About

As part of the School of Fine Art work in progress show in Kensington, students are using the Dyson Building gallery to display preparatory and exploratory works that enable the processes artists undergo towards realising works, but also importantly these working methods can often provoke further explorations that remain unfinished, or act as catalysts to many changes of direction. The show includes works on paper, notebooks, letters, notes-to-self, source material that artists feed off in the studio, exploratory forms, performance work as a process of moving through ideas. Freedom of thought and action is encouraged, keeping in mind also the proximity to the studios in Battersea.
