About
Braziers International Artist Workshop presents SUPERNORMAL. An intimate non-profit event that blurs the boundaries between art and music, performer and audience.SUPERNORMAL is a three day, experimental arts and music festival located at Braziers Park in Oxfordshire. SUPERNORMAL offers a platform to explore a dialogue between arts practice and music to challenge and reshape standard festival conventions of mediocrity and commercialism through intervention and collective action. An artist-led event SUPERNORMAL is a collision of performance, live music, art, discussion and the unknown and hybrid of event, village fete, pop-up art space and symposium.
The 2012 arts programme will feature national and international artists exploring a range of art/music/performance cross overs often with a focus on audience engagement in line with Supernormal's ethos.
Additionally we have invited artists who have previously taken part in the ground-breaking Braziers International Artists' Workshop (the seedbed for Supernormal) who will be returning to create new site-specific works installations and performances.
