The concept is simple, using the work exhibited at the end of year show each artist is asked to re-work and contextualise it outside of the institutional environment. The change of venue is dramatic from the grandeur of the ex-military college hospital at Millbank to an ex-car showroom in Peckham. The artists have to rethink their ideas in order for the work to stand up in this new environment. This maybe a change of medium or a re-scaling of work. Or simply to use the feedback of their peers to improve on some aspects or to consider new angles, which may have been previously missed. It is a chance to consolidate or to experiment further.

The work is representational of the broad range of methods in contemporary fine art practice from painting, drawing and sculpture to sound, video and live performance.

Having graduated just one month ago the energy and D.I.Y culture that proved an integral part of the group mentality at Chelsea continues into this exhibition. The ambition is here to see and so is the vigour and professionalism, which is evident in these exciting new works.
