INSTITUTE FOR MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES
Under the banner of Institute for Mathematical Sciences, a group of scientists, artists, curators and a composer will occupy Guest Projects space this March (http://goo.gl/vJtif). An experimentally inclusive structure means participants' individual research clashes and colludes within the project space in the form of artworks and public interactions. The residency will be punctuated by a regular series of public events bringing eminent scientists and artists together for debate, film screenings and performances.
Orbiting around the residency, a weekly radio show will broadcast IMS projects worldwide from Hackney-based NTS Radio. In a counter-movement, an international arm of the IMS operating from Mexico, Colombia, and France will monitor progress and project their voices back into the interior. All of these happenings will result in an exhibition that will develop and change, open to the public from the 10th - 29th March.
The program has been put together by Johann Arens, Sam Basu, Martin Clarke, Anne Duffau, Ignacio Gallo, Rishi Nalin Kumar, Peter Lewis, Daniel Lichtman, JL Murtaugh, Isaac Muà ±oz, Miguel Pacheco, Alicja Rogalska, Liliana Sanchez, Chooc Ly Tan, Christopher Thomas, Jessica Tsang, and Jill Van Epps.
