Experimental Animation Workshop 

Participants will receive a DVD of the film
produced. Suitable for ages 16 years and
upwards. No experience necessary.
Artist and film-maker Ben Rowley will lead
you through an exciting process of mark
making directly on film.
The first workshop will focus on drawing on
film and the second workshop will introduce
painting and collage work directly onto
photographic imagery. Participants will be
working on celluloid frame by frame in the
tradition of Len Lye, Norman Mclaren, Stan
Brakhage and others.
A showcase of the film produced will be
screened in the gallery later in the afternoon.
