Martine Charalambou — Live Paint 7th and 8th January. Exhibition runs 9th - 15th January The Stone Space is pleased to present a live painting event from artist Martine Charalambou. Moving on from her Hackney 4 day painting marathon of individual models, Charalambou has brought the task to Leytonstone and this time has set herself the challenge of tackling a group sitting live at the gallery. Martine says I visualise the group draped across my Chaise-Longue in full view of the shoppers in Church Lane. They can view the scene and the progress of the painting through the Gallery Window and see how it develops."
