About

To coincide with David Tremlett's major new site-related work for Tate Britain, UAL Centre for Drawing and CCW Graduate School presents David Tremlett in conversation with Andrew Wilson (Tate Curator of Modern and Contemporary British Art) and Professor Stephen Farthing (Rootstein Hopkins Chair of Drawing for the University of the Arts). The event also features the premiere screening of a new film by Professor Stephen Farthing and Ed Webb-Ingall documenting the installation of Tremlett's new wall drawing for Tate Britain. Tremlett's major new wall drawing ‘Drawing for Free Thinking' is inspired by the long tradition of twentieth-century constructivism and by his involvement in conceptual art in the 1970s. Presented by Chelsea Public Programme.
