Corrine Edwards Showcase launches a range of contemporary silver jewellery. Earrings, rings and pendants made from PMC (precious metal clay). Incorporating textures and Adinkra symbols. All work is unique and one-off.
My ceramics, jewellery and art work are inspired by many sources and experiences. In particular, symbols and iconic imagery from ancient civilizations, Ghanaian Adinkra Symbols (textile stamps), archeological finds and artefacts.
I incorporate the Ghanaian Adinkra symbols in my ceramics, prints and jewellery.
Ceramics are glazed with a very distinctive dry sky-blue glaze, which emphasises texture and form, giving a matt surface reminiscent of maritime archeological discoveries.
Ceramic brooches, pendant and rings from £24.00.
