About

This exhibition showcases the diverse range of artistic talent displayed by women in prison. ‘New Beginnings' is made up of thirty works of art submitted to the Women's Support Centre Surrey Art Awards, which is open to all female prisoners in Surrey. Participation and achievement in the arts motivates many prisoners and helps them to develop the skills needed to lead a more positive life. Visitors to the exhibition will be given the opportunity to vote for the winner of the ‘People's Choice' award.
