The most popular Open Show, which has led the field in ‘hang the lot' aesthetics since 1984; this amassing of hundreds of small and various works at affordable prices, the legendary Cafe Gallery Open Exhibition, representing all artists, consolidates its position as THE summer exhibition! Our emphasis continues to be on the display of small works which are accessible to the public. Thereby, the exhibition retains its original intention of showing all types of art made by artists ranging from those who are students to established international names. Visitors are directed by road signs to the gallery from Canada Water station on the Jubilee Line and London Overground. After a short walk into Southwark Park, art magazines are provided for reading whilst you are welcome to sit in the gallery garden, enjoy a cup of tea and take advantage of the offers of light refreshments which are also available.
