Artists respond to the themes of Rebecca Feiner's show 'Memory'

About

For this special closing event Rebecca Feiner has invited musicians, authors, poets and an actor to respond to the themes of her show 'Memory'. Narinder Samra, award winning actor & star of controversial feature film 'Land Gold Women' will be giving a reading created by Rebecca Feiner from the traces of memories generously left by visitors to the exhibition 'Memory'. John Gibbons, the author of 'The Nighingale's Code, A Poetic Reading of Bob Dylan', will read two poems inspired by the show. Amorel Weston, instigator of the original Little Theatre Club and home of Free Jazz, will perform 'Heaven', a recent song from the band The Children. Plus special guests Last chance to experience 'Memory' in The Belfry ‘Feiner mixes the confessional style of Tracy Emin with the objectivity of American conceptualist Joseph Kosouth.' Time Out, 1999 Rebecca Feiner's art has been described as ‘visceral and performative' and her new show 'Memory' continues to mine a dark seam of human nature through the universalities of family, childhood, loss, grief and survival.
