Am Nuden Da invites you to a talk by Srik Narayanan as part of their current exhibition Session_14_Structure at Space

This event sets out to offer a scientific perspective on our intimate relationship with gravity.

Narayanan’s conversation will depart from an examination of our everyday experience of gravity on Earth and explore how scientists have only recently begun to explain how this very same force acts as a universal organising principle, responsible for creating the structure of the Universe and how it is profoundly bound up with the existence of conscious life.

Srik Narayanan is a filmmaker based in London. Trained as a physicist, specialising in astrophysics and cosmology, Narayanan received an MA and MSci from the University of Cambridge and, later, an MSc in political philosophy from the London School of Economics. His documentaries and dramas have been shown across the world, including on the BBC, Channel 4, Discovery Channel and National Geographic.

The talk will begin at 8.00pm and last approximately 20 minutes. It will be followed by an open discussion with Srik Narayanan.

Session_14_Structure continues to 5th March 2011.
