The current exhibition is of the work of Heather Blockey, an artist who uses mixed media to create textural pieces. Her pieces stand up from the canvas and demand attention. Layers of news paper, paint and wire mix together in colour and content forming unexpected patterns. You find yourself interested in both reading the extracts as well as viewing the pieces as visually interesting spectacles.
