Tutor: KERRY PHIPPEN Course Outline: A studio based day discovering the beauty and infinite possibilities of using brush and ink. Students are invited to bring treasured objects from home to work with: loved toys, personal memorabilia, a child's first pair of shoes. These will form your unique subject matter from which to explore the beauty of ink and its potential to unveil the hidden qualities of your favourite things. The day will begin with observational drawings in sketchbooks and move into the use of brush and ink to create completely unique drawings on fine paper.
