Filmmaking + Broadcasting Opportunities 

Do you want to make a film?

Dear All

We have some exciting opportunities available for young people between the ages of 16 and 19 who are interested in working with experienced filmmakers on the production of 1 or 2 short films about urban culture. The films will be written and produced by the young people with help and support from leading media professionals, and participants will be involved in all aspects of the filmmaking process such as camerawork, sound design, directing, producing, editing, and music production.

No qualifications or previous experience needed, just an enthusiasm for filmmaking. Participants need to be resident in the Olympic boroughs (Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham, Greenwich or Waltham Forest) to qualify.

The films will be screened at an event in Hackney (TBC) as well as being broadcast on Urban Dynamik TV and entered in to Channel 4’s 4 Docs competition.
