Michelle Reader, artist The terraced houses and light industrial estates of Blackhorse Lane have recently developed a reputation as a new visual arts hotspot in London. At the heart of this change is Blackhorse Lane Studios. For one weekend each year, Blackhorse Lane Studios lets the public in to see the artworks of the 30 international artists who work there. The Open Studios event is timed to run alongside Walthamstow's E17 Art Trail, run by artists every September.
