Daniel Padden and Sarah Kenchington

Daniel Padden is a multi-instrumentalist and member of the cult experimental band 'Volcano The Bear'. He also forms with 'The One Ensemble', an avant-chamber-folk group based in Scotland. As well as recording and performing as a solo artist, he creates music for film and theatre. Sarah Kenchington plays her own invented, pedal driven, music machine, it has horns, a hurdy gurdy-banjo and a giant mbira. Her music can sound orchestral, animal, mechanical, uncomfortable or dainty. She performs solo (Shy Showoff) and with the Book Of Beasts. Daniel Padden and Sarah Kenchington will be coming to Stroud from the Serpentine Gallery in London, where they are launching their new album, 'The Bellow Switch' (Shadazz records)
