University of Greenwich Galleries was set up in 2013 to manage the expansion in gallery provision resulting from the development of the new academic building in Stockwell Street.
There are now three exhibition spaces on the Greenwich Campus: The Stephen Lawrence Gallery; The Project Space and the Heritage Gallery. Each venue has its own distinct character, both in terms of location as well as the style and content of the programming. In combination, they offer a variety of exhibition experiences to the diverse range of audiences who come to us.
The galleries will continue to represent visual culture in its diversity through curated group exhibitions of the work of contemporary visual practitioners from a range of disciplines and backgrounds.
