The Rebel Man Standard is Jamila Johnson-Small, Hamish MacPherson and Zinzi Minott. They work together to re-consider the conventional structures that support artistic creation and practice within dance, sharing resources and conversations around the political implications of this in order to imagine and enable alternatives. The project explores the political potentials, and potential ramifications, of dance and choreographic practice, socially and for the body of the doer, through a range of activities happening between July 2015 and May 2016.
