Sue Kennington (London, 1955) completed her studies in London at Goldsmiths College (MFA) 2002 and Chelsea College, London BA Fine Art 1994. In 2002 she moved her practice to Central Italy and currently works between a remote forest in Tuscany and her studio in Rome in San Lorenzo. In 1996 she participated in the New Contemporaries at the Tate Liverpool and at the Camden Arts Centre in London. Since then she has regularly held exhibitions in both Italy and the UK. Her work is an investigation into light and color within contemporary painting, a continuous exploration of color as a language.
