Robert Dunt is London based artist, curator and YouTuber who graduated from City & Guilds of London Art School (2004) with First Class honours. His abstract and representational paintings are inspired by music, colour and cubism. His abstract paintings in particular are inspired by the alternative band The Jesus and Mary Chain. Sound and Vision will be curated by artist and YouTuber Robert Dunt following on from two successful shows he curated in London in 2021. Firstly The Lockdown Interviews Exhibition featuring artists Robert interviewed during Lockdown for his YouTube channel ArtTop10.com and then “Edge to Edge” (co- curated with Alexander Hinks) which looked at how contemporary artists are dealing with hard edged abstraction today. Robert set up the website and YouTube channel ArtTop10.com in 2011 with the aim of encouraging people to talk about art in a relaxed non-jargonistic fashion. The channel now has over 100 films of artist interviews and exhibition reviews. He also runs another travel and food review channel called TravelDog. He is the creator of the upcoming show Sound and Vision at Merton Arts Space in Wimbledon Library which runs from 16 September to 6 October. More information at www.ArtTop10.com.
