Nicolas Laborie and Claire Strickland are the creative duo collaborating to create the work in this exhibition 'The Suffragettes : Millennial Rebels'.
They are both artists based in London, and created this series of fine art unique plates and bespoke millinery designs to explore and celebrate the centenary of the Representation of the People Act 1918. This act granted some women over 30 the vote, for the first time in the UK.
Nicolas and Claire invited millennials of today to talk about their experience of voting and to sit for photographs using a 19th century photographic process called Wet Plate Collodion.
