Marta Grabowska is a translator, nomadic curator and art historian. She founded ONE Project (www.one-project.co.uk) and Kookaburra Gallery (www.kookaburra.gallery) and is a driving force behind Speed Networking for Creatives. She worked with art institutions in Poland (Camera Obscura, Photomonth in Krakow) and in the UK (Karin Janssen Project Space).
She studied Curating at Central Saint Martins and Creative Photography at Cracow School of Art and Fashion Design and currently studies towards a BA in History of Art and Curating, at Birkbeck, researching the Modernism and Young Poland movement. She is a member of the London Art History Society. Her areas of interest cover the ideas of slow art, Gesamtkunstwerk, Art Education and Problem of elitism in the art world.
