Louise Whitham, Artist holds an MA in printmaking from Central St Martins, University of the Arts London. She is a Lecturer in Fine Art at University Centre. East Sussex. Her current work explores identity and ageing. A variety of iconic figurative poses are deliberately referenced to re-evaluate female identity. Her mixed media, goddesses, lollipop ladies and Suffragettes warmly and wittily flutter in the face of stereotyping in art.
