Krasi Dimtch is Ottawa-based multimedia artist who creates digital, conceptual, and sound art that encode linguistic contents and explore the structures of Language viewed as a repository of ideas. She was born in Bulgaria and holds a master's degree from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in Poland. After immigrating to Canada, Krasi dedicated herself fully to the study of the generative powers of Language and its role in the thought-creation process. In 2013, she was granted a patent for methods for natural language generation (CIPO - Patent 2704163). Krasi Dimtch has exhibited nationally and internationally. Some of the places she has recently presented her works are: 2017, Exhibition of the Winners of International Juried Competition, Los Angelis Center for Digital Art (USA); 2017, ArtVenice Biennale IV, Venice, (Italy); 2017 LACDA Represented Artists Exhibit, Los Angelis Center for Digital Art (USA); 2016 solo exhibit at gallery Luz, Montreal, (Canada); 2016 Gallery Steiner, Red Dot Miami Art Fair (USA).
