Keith Hopewell was born in York 1972, studying BA (hons) & MA (distinction) in Fine Art & Visual Culture at Winchester School of Art. He now lives and works in Suffolk. His practice explores the relationship between sound and non-representational painting, using unorthodox and contemporary mediums. The resultant art is exhibited internationally, formally in galleries, and in public, open spaces. As a multidisciplinary artist, Hopewell’s work simultaneously collides both sculptural and painterly elements to explore sonic impressions and synesthetic perceptions. Using natural rhythms, and ritualistic systems, Hopewell’s work is about creating a pure language for the senses. Nikki Goldup, has over thirty years of experience working in the creative industries, education and academic research (MPhil Cantab). She offers a broad-based and contemporary approach to digital marketing, visual art making, and project facilitation. As a practising artist Nikki has exhibited her work internationally, working alongside curators to develop installation works, catalogues, presentations and lecture series. Her work is now held in many private and public collections. As an educator, Nikki has worked in a breadth of educational institutions, museums and galleries, teaching in informal and informal settings. Her specialist interest lies in supporting those who are or have been educationally excluded. www.blackandwhitecreative.co.uk
