Kathryn Cooper makes live art pieces exploring the intersections of care practices and art practices. She is interested in one to one performances and the power dynamic between the performer and the audience.
She has created sound pieces in the form of guided meditations or visualisations in an attempt to address the fear and ambivalence around the existential threats which face humanity.
She has been working as an artist since the turn of the century, exhibiting and selling artists publications internationally. Kathryn took time away from art making in 2011 to study art psychotherapy at Goldsmiths, then be an art psychotherapist and then become a mother of two. But now she is back to art making, back again, yes she's back, phone a friend.
