Karina Acosta



Buenos Aires, 1970.

She has studies in social communication, cinema and mathematics. She continues her training in visual arts in different seminars and clinics of work and contemporary art with Jorge Haro, Valeria González and Gabriel Valansi; and in the institutions UTDT and Universidad del Cine (FUC). Produced and exhibited since 2009, her works were part of group and individual exhibitions in art spaces, galleries and museums of contemporary art. Her works combine different disciplines such as photography, installation and video art, focusing on out-of-days formats and reduced pace. Her works are part of private collections in Argentina and the United States.

Since 2016 she is dedicated to teaching and curating specialized in moving image. She is currently the art gallery manager of 488 Gallery. Lives and works in Buenos Aires.
