Jo Myles



Jo is a print and textile artist working from her garden studio based in West Sussex, UK. She spends her time creating large scale textile tapestries/sculptures and printing Lino & woodblocks. Jo graduated from Ravensbourne College of Art & Design with a degree in printed textiles.

Best known for working alongside Alexander McQueen creating show stopping sculptural outfits that were shown in his catwalk shows ESHU & VOSS. These iconic pieces were included in the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition which opened in 2011 at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art then travelling to the UK in 2015 to be shown at the Victoria & Albert Museum London.

She is inspired by the intricacies of vintage textiles, traditional tailoring, modern art, and the natural world, often found out walking across the south downs.

Jo won the Smirnoff international fashion awards in 2000 and went onto have her printed outfits shown at both London Fashion week and New York Fashion week.

A 'Make award's' winner in 2012 with her previous company, 3 Blonde Bears that went on to be listed in the startups100 for 3 consecutive years as one of the most creative companies in the UK. Jo was chosen to be a founding member of enterprise 250 in 2013, selected by Lord Young and Sir Terry Leahy as one of the emerging new industries with her design led gifting company.
