From the photo series MOBILE CHURCHES (2013-2017). The picture shows a blocked view of Biserica Sfântul Ștefan Cuibu' cu Barză (Saint Stephen Church “Stork's Nest”), Bucharest, 2015. It is the last of the seven churches displaced on rails under Ceaușescu, and also the one which has been moved on the shortest distance of ridiculous 14 meters. The imminent collapse of the regime one year later, reveals the complete nonsense and the tragicomedy of this chapter of history.
