Heena Song is an experimental filmmaker and visual artist who works with analogue film and digital medium, experimenting both in the practical and theoretical perspective. Her practice seeks to reveal everyday occurrences and archetypical scenes to explore individuals' existence, collective memories, and the nature of our relationship to the space we inhabit. Her work examines a variety of formats, techniques to investigate the materiality of film/video, filmic illusion, and the spectator’s subconscious.
