Caroline Jane Harris



Harris is represented by Kristin Hjellegjerde gallery, London. She graduated from MA Fine Art at City &Guilds of London Art School in 2015, where she was awarded the Norman Ackroyd Prize for Etching, and the Roger de Gray drawing prize. Harris was invited to stay on as Research Printmaking Fellow at the university until 2018. In 2016 Harris was selected as an Artist in Residence at The Florence Trust, London

and in 2017 Harris was awarded a solo exhibition at ASC Gallery selected by critic and curator Paul Carey-Kent; A Bright Haunting took place in 2018 and was accompanied by an essay by Dr. Jon K Shaw. In 2019 Harris had her first solo show with representing gallery Kristin Hjellegjerde 'A Three-Dimensional Sky, for which she made an entirely new body of work based on magic lantern slides. A film is currently being produced of the exhibition and the ‘in-conversation’ that took place with curator Jon Sharples during the show. Since graduating Harris has exhibited internationally, mostly recently at Art Dubai in 2019. Selected exhibitions include; Creekside Open, Selected by Sacha Craddock, A.P.T.
