Klein) Glass Design (J. Gavula) and sculptures, objects, installation (J. Meliš). In 2006 he won first prize for a one minute film at the International Film Festival in Bratislava and in 2007 he was awarded the prestigious Gallery of Nova Prize for glass. Ašot Haas exhibits his work throughout Europe and the USA and has joined the collections of major art galleries. The artist with his timeless works combines the real and virtual world through new materials and technologies. He often uses basal shapes, a circle and a square, which transforms into the third dimension. He is interested in and lured by new perspective on modern technology and its use in art, which he seeks to respond to the current time. He experiments with different technologies and materials, which he leaves in abstract and geometric form. His work is characterized by minimalist form, for which, however, hides a complex equation. It is essential for the artist’s interactivity with the audience, to make himself part of the transformation and influence the work itself.
