Ana Daniela Sultana is a curator and artistic adviser at creart – the Center for Creation, Art and Tradition of the Municipality of Bucharest. Previously, she has collaborated with institutions such as the Romanian Cultural Institute in Vienna, the Austrian Cultural Forum in Bucharest, the International Cultural Centre in Kraków, and the Art Museum of Timișoara. Ana Daniela Sultana graduated from the University of Bucharest with a BA in Philology and a BA in Communication and Public Relations, as well as from the University of Applied Arts Vienna with a MA in ecm/ educating curating managing, and is currently enrolled in a PhD program at her home university, i.e. the University of Bucharest, writing a doctoral thesis titled “The Poetics of the Curatorial Text”. She contributes constantly with reviews and articles on art platforms and magazines and recently, she has started a weekly art review column in Agenția de cArte. She lives and works in Bucharest, Romania.
