Amy Jackson (born 1986 in Leeds) is an English artist based in London and Leeds. Jackson studied at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art at the University of Oxford, 2005 - 2008 and Leeds College of Art and Design, 2003 - 2004. She is a conceptual artist with 15 years’ experience blending concept, philosophy, nature and science to create meticulous immersive experiences in traditional galleries and unconventional spaces. Key themes of her work include the environment, social media, social inequalities, mental health and critically, how these themes are inextricably linked. Jackson’s work often exists outside of the ‘white cube’ and inside the communities it touches. Her experience spans public speaking on climate change and group and solo exhibitions. She has exhibited at Modern Art Oxford, Kensington + Chelsea Art Week and Whitechapel Gallery. Her work includes, video, public art, print, photography and street art.
