Vesselroom Project is an independently run art space based on a post-commercial basis in the transnational centre of Berlin, Kottbusser Tor. With a combination of commercial and non-commercial, formal and informal, renown and unknown artists and exhibitions, this art space aims to become a meeting point for artists, collectors and visitors.

Vesselroom Project is a dynamic platform that wants to support artistic production in its many ways, offering a program based on four pillars:

· Vesselroom Guests are a series of exhibitions where artists meet. Like a blind date, no one knows what will come out of it. Kottbusser Tor is their meeting point and the Vesselroom is a place open to exploration of new media, investigation of theoretical discourses and observation of current trends.

· Vesselroom Specific offers the possibility to artists to create a unique and temporary piece for the space. All media are welcomed, all possibilities are open. Experimentation and investigation are at the core of this program, that aims to expand gallery limits and test new participatory models.

· Vesselroom Video transforms the gallery space into a cinema. A selection Videoart pieces are displayed once a month, looking into the current and past directions of this media, opening a dialogue between practitioners and enthusiasts.

· Vesselroom Library is an ongoing project established through the collaboration with diverse visual artists, zine-makers and publishing houses. Vesselroom Library is a bookshop with a selection of fanzines, artists books and magazines from all over the world, without any restriction of media or theme.
