Velma Studio

Velma studios is an Artist led studio based in Horfield next to Gloucester Rd. We are a collection of multi discipline artists ranging from photography, video, sculpture, painting, drawing and set design.

Velma Studio is a non for profit organsation that strives to provide Bristol with affordable multi-purpose art and workshop space. All studio holders meet and work regularly together to continue to improve the studio as a flexible and inspiring creative space.

The building is made up of 10 individual studio spaces that start from £80 pm which includes all bills, the internet, waste disposal and 24/7, 365-day access. Alongside this, our studio holders have access to a communal workshop/project space that can be used for fabricating bigger projects or photo shoots, a communal kitchen area and a clean study space with a library.
